Skatemill™ centered facility, Benicky Hockey Centre, is being opened at the Ondrej Nepela hockey arena in Bratislava during the 2011 World Hockey Championship. Dusan Benicky’s training system (BENICKY SYSTEM ©) will now be available for the hockey players in Slovakia who will benefit from this unique hockey skill development program.

Within HPC Dusan has developed a world unique and completely innovating off-ice hockey skill & conditioning training system utilizing Skatemill™. He developed psycho-physical training methodology to accelerate an athlete’s skills improvement. He created methodologies for proper skating stride and puck handling skills on the Skatemill™, in the gym and on the ice.  Over two decades, Dusan has helped improving hockey skills of hundreds of hockey players of all ages including a great number of top world hockey performers. Pavel Bure, Jaromír Jágr, Jiří Šlégr, Igor Larionov, Vladimír Ország, Tomas Vokoun, Miro Šatan, Marián Hossa, Zdeno Chára, Žigo Pállfy, Peter Bondra, Claude Lemieux, David Jones, Pavol Demitra, Bret Hedican, Martin Kariya, Gilbert Brule, Martin Gelinas, Jason Strudwick are some of the hockey players who have participated in the Benicky System ©. Dusan’s specialty is also reconditioning from various injuries, especially from groin injury.
